Our practice includes civil engineering for commercial land developers as well as a lot of work in the transportation industry.  We seek engineers with a desire to work in either industry and have several years of professional experience as well as a college degree.

Civil Project Engineer | Denver, CO

We have an immediate opening for a mid to senior level project engineer in our Denver office. A degree in engineering as well as a PE license and 5-8 years of civil engineering experience will be considered.

Our Denver office is experiencing expansive growth. There are opportunities to work in commercial land development, residential, or transportation projects. Work remotely or work in the office from our downtown Denver location on 17th Street and Welton.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Understand project scope. Prepare engineering documents and computations. Must possess an ability to take a project from concept through construction plan design, development and the permitting process.
  • Attend meetings with project team.
  • Communicate with clients, municipalities, and agencies as directed.
  • Prepare drawings and construction documents using CAD and/or Microstation.
  • Direct CAD Technicians on simple assignments.
  • Modify plans as reviewed by agencies, municipalities, and clients.
  • Provide construction-related services.
  • Prepare permit applications, cut sheets, and quantity estimates.
  • Perform construction observations.
  • Prepare calculations for storm drain, water systems, and develop earth quantities.
  • Prepare grading, utility, and roadway plans.
  • Follow and apply CAD standards.
  • Quality check all work and work of other designers to ensure complete and accurate plans are provided to engineers.
