South Service Center Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Employee Lot Modification (Seattle, WA)

EES was part of the team that created a comprehensive parking plan that met the current ADA requirements. The first objective was to remove all ADA designated parking spaces from the SSC yard and relocate those spaces to the north side of employee parking lot on the east side of 4th Avenue. This first objective furthers SCL’s policy to restrict personal vehicles from parking within the secured area of the yard while also increasing the level of employee safety for the site. The second objective is to provide ADA compliant spaces that meet all ADA design standards. SCL will accomplish the second objective by creating eight (8) ADA compliant vehicle and van accessible parking stalls at the north side of the employee parking area within fence area.
