Central 70

The Central 70 Project will reconstruct a 10-mile stretch of I-70 between Brighton Boulevard and Chambers Road, add one new Express Lane in each direction, remove the aging 56-year-old viaduct, lower the interstate between Brighton and Colorado boulevards, and place a 4-acre park over a portion of the lowered interstate. EES was responsible for the Stormwater Management Plans for the entire segment, the construction of a complex 30” sanitary sewer system relocation from York Street to the MWRD Delgany Interceptor, water and fire line design, document control, as well as providing high level staff to run the Quality Assurance Program.
