Early Childhood Development

Over the past 10 years, EES has worked with several daycare, preschool and K-12 education facility providers in Colorado and Washington. Work included due diligence, assistance with site selection, preliminary planning and construction documents, grading, erosion control, utilities, and drainage plans, as well as civil site design, stormwater detention design, the stormwater management plan, grading, drainage, wet utility design, parking lot, egress, sidewalk design, and more. EES has been responsible for the civil engineering aspect of playgrounds and playing fields associated with the schools, in coordination with the landscape architect and school playground consultant.

Current childcare/school clients include: Goddard Schools, and Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool.
