King County Metro RapidRide H-Line

This project consists of upgrades to the existing Metro Route 120 to the RapidRide H Line along an 11-mile portion of the transit route and includes civil infrastructure elements such as speed and reliability improvements, passenger facilities, pedestrian access, signal and communication/technology upgrades. EES is one of two civil engineering consultants for the King County Metro Transit RapidRide H Line route project. EES provides the civil design for roadway replacement, bus stations, sidewalk, curb, gutter, ADA-compliant curb ramps, and driveway replacement for the White Center segment. Tasks include preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates for the segment with deliverables from 30% through final bid documents. Extensive coordination was crucial for a consistent package for this bus route that traverses through three (3) reviewing agencies.
