Town of Parker Public Works Operations Center

The Town of Parker expanded their Public Works facilities and contracted for a new Operations Building on East Hess Road. The new facility included nearly 32,000 sq. ft. of building, maintenance vehicle parking, covered parking, and numerous storage areas for solid and liquid materials. EES contracted to provide the civil site design, including grading, drainage, wet utility design, dry utility coordination, parking, and vehicle and pedestrian egress. The site’s unusual topography and the facility requirements limited the space available for onsite detention. EES designed a two-pond system to maximize usable space while meeting detained volume needs. Design required several separate submittals to the Town of Parker and other jurisdictions with authority, including Parker Water and Sanitation District and South Metro Fire District. EES prepared separate fire water line plan and profile documents, temporary fire lane exhibits and coordinated the final fire lane approval. EES also updated the drawings to include as-built information and prepared the pond certification for the Town of Parker as part of construction services.
